Welcome to NeuralLit!
Hello World! Thank you for coming to my site and reading/reviewing whatever it is that interests you. I am working hard and diligently on publishing Brian this Fall, and trying to somehow write another story soon as I start my new job. Which so seems to be more difficult, yet more rewarding, than what I have had to deal with at a company before. And that’s ok. I shall get back into my old groove of thinking scientifically, and not so bake-a-cake like in manufacturing. Anyway, this is my first blog post if you can’t tell for every reason. I will be introducing a couple (hopefully more than that) awesome people that I personally know which are creatives (hint: they have links on this very site), and chatting with them so you can learn about who they are and what it takes to create a masterpiece, or even just a tidbit of something cool.
I am pretty certain science fiction is a gateway to a better and a worse future, which in itself confounds me and leaves me rubbing my head as I create horrible yet blisteringly beautiful psychotic thoughts of some megalomaniac to show where we could go. And by could, I mean probably will in some way or another. But I truly do hope not. That is and was the reason I created Brian. For that bodiless brain to never have to exist. The mere thought of that coming to actual real life makes me sick to my stomach, and it should for you as well. I also believe science fiction to be one of, if not, the most creative genres of words on paper (albeit you’re reading this on a screen but I digress).
Reading can be such a treasure, a treat, it can also be a tragic waste of time if given the wrong book or the wrong genre. And as the reading can be, so can the writing. Today, tonight, I write this first blog post to be read by about six people out of seven billion, awaiting to have a piece of cake with my lovely and hardworking wife. And maybe if the world collapses, again, there’s the small chance that another, higher no doubt, life-form discovers this very website through an obvious accident and thinks to itself what the fuck is this Darwinian ape talking about? Well, that’s about it. Writers have everything and nothing to say. Fiction is one big, huge, gianormous and well thought out lie from the hands and brain of a pseudo-crazy person. Have I said anything at all here so far? Well, it can probably only get better from here. Enjoy my reader(s).
